I am so thankful you found me, and I love you already! My name is Erica and I’m the creator of the art you’ll find on this site. I started my “professional” life in finance after getting a business degree, and before I knew it my side hustle of painting became my full time gig. Now I paint murals, original pieces, and bounce around to local markets and music festivals, and I couldn’t be more fulfilled by it. I find the most joy from painting animals and nature. I love putting life and personality on canvas. The world is a beautiful place and the living things that walk/swim/fly/coexist with us as humans, along with the diverse landscapes on this planet endlessly amaze me.

Art quite literally gives me life. When things are challenging, I turn to painting. When I am anxious about the state of the world/environment/economy, I turn to painting. It connects me with my truest self, and I love that it continues to connect me with others. Although my internet persona is silly and bubbly, I have experienced, and continue to experience severe depression that creative expression has been one of my biggest saviors from. It is a way to express myself and all of my feelings fully. Making art is where I feel the most at home inside of myself. I am so passionate about creativity, and it is an honor to create for others. My style of art is meant to breathe life and love into your space, reflect on your own journey and make you smile.

I live in Durham, Maine with my husband and our rambunctious dog, Toro. My art studio is a lofted space above what used to be a goat barn on our property and I couldn’t be more in love. When I’m not painting I love spending time outdoors, dancing, walking in the woods with my dog, practicing yoga, cooking epic meals for friends, seeing live music, and many other things that give me inspiration and make me feel alive!
